INSTRUCTIONS
Body
With 5.0mm crochet hook, ch 106. Close with a st to form a ring being careful not to twist the stitches.
Rnd 1: Ch1, sc1 on each ch, sl st on beg ch.
Rnd 2: Ch 3 (counted as 1 hdc and 1 ch1), hdc 1 on second sc, *(ch1, skip next sc, hdc1 on next sc); rep *52 times, ch1, sl st on second ch of the beg ch 3 - 53 squares.
Rnd 3: Ch 2 (counted as a hdc), hdc1 on each hc and ch across, sl st on the top ch of ch2 - 106 hdc.
Rnd 4-8: Rep Rnd 3.
Rnd 9: Change to 5.5mm crochet hook; rep Rnd 2.
Rnd 10-15: Rep Rnd 3.
Rnd 16: Change to 6.0mm crochet hook; rep Rnd 2.
Rnd 17-22: Rep Rnd 3.
Set-up for Edging

Rnd 25: Ch1, sc5 on ch5 arc around; sl st on beg st.
Rnd 26: Ch3 (counts as a dc), ch1, skip first sc, (dc1 on next sc, ch1) 4 times; sc1 on third sc of the arc; *[ch1, (dc1 on next sc, ch1) 5 times, sc 1 on third sc of next arc]; rep from * 19 times across, end with ch1, sl st on third ch of the beg ch3 - total 20 fan panels.
